Revisited "The Thursday Murder Club", not bad, as Copey said, lots of plot twists. thumbup

Just finished "Slough House" by Mick Herron. It's the latest in the Jackson Lamb/Slow Horses series, and it doesn't disappoint. I think you would have to have read at least some of the books in the series to understand the characters.

Also a shout out for the DS Hutton five book series by Douglas Lindsay.

“Not dark yet” - Peter Robinson.

More of the same from the DCI Banks series. This ties up the loose ends from the last in the series, not his best.

The fine art of invisible detection - Robert Goddard

Latest offering from one of my favourite authors. Not his best but still a good read, full of the twists and turns you expect of his books. Don’t let the rather strange choice of title put you off, it has little to do with the plot.

Umiko Wada is secretary to a Japanese private detective who asks her to help out in a case by impersonating one of his clients, it starts to go wrong for Umiko when her boss is murdered.

Kali, they made a not very good film adaptation of Into the Blue starring John Thaw
