CO2 production is at an all time low.
Does this benefit the environment and do Global Warmers still eat crumpets after the surprising news that they need it to keep them fresh ?

Don't worry a1, the stability of your dreamworld is not threatened. They`re going to increase global oil production, so you can still drive the extra miles to get your crumpets at no extra cost, and we can all breathe again. Or maybe not..
Which raises the slightly less stupid question: if crumpets depend on a product of the fertilizer industry, can they ever be claimed to be organically produced?

Birds or electric light bulbs?
I don't understand the question. Unless, of course, it's not really a question, but a way of hinting at some ready-formed judgement without having to bother to justify it

The question is, do we put birds before light just as we put newts in front of Motorways.
Solar farms are good and Motorways are " bad ".
Do green credentials give you better sway in building whatever is green ?

So the original question wasn't really about Elon Musk's proposed solar farm, or about the north Kent marshes. Though by and large, it's fair to say that solar farms are good (a generally positive environmental impact) and motorways are bad (try living near one).

Perhaps you should refine the question a bit. Ospreys or magpies? Wetland migratory feeding stations or garden bird feeders? Motorways or solar farms?

Of course, I'm sure you'd be out there heroically defending our feathered friends whenever a wind turbine is proposed!

Good summer equals global warming.
Last 5 miserable and damp summers equals global warming.
I wish someone would make their minds up.

Looking out of the window it would appear we have stopped global warming. Cold , wet and windy .
I wonder how they will get this into the equation !

Weather, over time and region, equals climate.

If only you two could get out of that 'Little Englander' mindset for a bit, maybe you'd see things for what they are.

Global Warming. The clue is in the first word.

We're not on this earth long enough to worry about the 'globe'. :P:

I don't think it's anthropogenic!

Dear oh dear oh dear! I have to ask myself, 'How does this affect me?'

It doesn't, I'm too bloody old....... :P:

Probably won't affect anyone alive at the moment either, they are talking 3-5 million years before the industrial revolution since the last time. thinking

The video makes an incontrovertible case. But it's a bit old hat, dates back to the time when the climate sceptics were still influential. Now they're irrelevant, only the flat earthers still cling to that kind of denial.

The big climate debate in parliament today was embarrassing though - not because of what was said (there were some great speeches and ideas), but the shockingly poor attendance, especially on the government benches.

I bet all of the Green Party MP were there.
Sorry for the grammar but it was difficult to generate any great enthusiasm.
